Convince me to not buy an Ampeg SVT-II Pro for $600. Comes in a rack mounted case, I have 30 days if I don't like it. Add on tax and shipping (another$75). Still, $675 for a 300 watts of vintage American tube power? Why wouldn't I do this? It's in excellent condition and is one of the older ones with the blue lettering.

You shouldn't do it because it's big heavy old technology. Which, of course, by the way, are all the same reasons why you should do it. Not much help I'm afraid, sorry. :p

Someone else recently posted on TB, that coming here to ask us to talk you out of buying gear is like having an AA meeting at a bar. Let me now attempt to talk you out buying some warm goodness that comes in glass bottles... ;)

Looks so clean inside, just want to play gahhh....

I will say this. Guitar Center in Nashua NH really stepped up. Taking it to John Nau - Invalid Link Removed and GC is paying for the repair, no questions asked. Sucks that I have to wait, but at least they are taking care of it.
