whats up with the boost channel?
(right side)
mine has a bit of somewhat like comp!
it sucks in my attack and then levels out!
its not drastic but enough for me to notice.
i akin it to like a real saggy tube rect guiTAR AMP
its very odd.
also i have the gain on the lowest setting and i hear distortion NOT overdrive!
i really wanted an overdrive pedal i would love to keep this as a second gain but i have totally no use for the boost section
i know i'm all over the place but i don't have a store hear where i can go in and try lots a cool **** and the process of buying and shipping back and buying again will take forever to find a nice fat simple OVERDRIVE that retains bottom and doesnt color! i dont need tone knobs!

FWIW the boost channel is like the boost channels on most of these two-stage dirt boxes- it's just a volume boost, which most bassists really don't need. It's only useful for soloists who use a blast of gain to peg the input of a tube amp. I'm guessing that whatever compression or sag you're hearing is actually your amp's response to a high input signal.
