Watch out dude.

Those are pretty clearly Dan Armstrong circuit clones.
The circuits are good, but those are high price tags for them.

None of them should go for more than $50 or so.

Edit: (That sounds sort of jerky, I'm not trying to take away from the goodness of the pedal, I just think they are significantly overpriced.)

No I can't.
I assume that based on the information provided throughout his website. I'd be willing to guess that if I could get some good gut shots or schematics of things then:

ORANGE WHIP=Orange Squeezer
BLUEBIRD or PINKMAN= tame Blue Clipper
MR. WHITE-Red Ranger or Purple Peaker
PURPLE OCTOPUS= Green Ringer

None of which have $135 worth in parts or labor put into them. I have a feeling that the price assumption also stands for the effects that are not Armstrong clones.

Again, I'm not saying these aren't good, just that the seem to be priced a bit high for what you are getting.

Whether or not they are clones the price doesn't reflect the time it takes to make them and the costs of running a business and turning a profit.

Absolutely correct, thus the name and color

Not even close and both very very different from each other.

Fairly similar as there is really only one way to create a high octave with an analog circuit, but not really a clone as I've never studied the Green Ringer circuit.

FYI - price of ordering parts for one pedal and having them shipped to my door is around $50. Then factor in overhead, time to build, and wholesale to retailers so they can sell them for $125 (not $135)...yeah, I don't make anything on these.

I am amazed by the number of people that think QUALITY professional gear can be built cheaply. I can make a $10 fuzz from parts from the nearest Radio Shack. But I would never gig with it or sell it to someone else. Quality costs money and if you want builders to keep building you should probably make sure they turn enough profit to eat.

I purchased the Choad Blaster at Eclipse Music in St. Paul, MN. It is my favorite pedal in my set up. It can go from a balls to wall distortion to a synthy fuzz. I use it as a slightly dirt clean boost. I'm still waiting for an octave pedal with more options to come out!
