here is the real truth behind the making of strings !!

My take: Pretty much all nickle-rounds at any price/features or hype sound "pretty-enough" the same to me from about week two to maybe week two-hundred or maybe even more, maybe sometimes less. ...And that's a typical useful lifespan for them for me, depending on humidity and sweat-content, but I never wipe them... Granted, nickle-rounds are pretty much all I play on an Electric Bass. Just my thing.

After 43 years of playing Electric Basses, this is my opinion, it took me a while to come to it, but in the long run, it sure has saved me some money.

And yes, my grammar and punctuation skills are always impeccable.

My Chinese wife took me to Vancouver's ChinaTown.

Being from the Midwest it felt to me like the whole city is ChinaTown, haha! Vancouver is a really cool town! (Especially if you like Asian girls. They are everywhere, but a guy I met told me they aren't terribly sociable.) I went to ChinaTown there as well, to the garden .... I can't remember the exact name, but it is really cool. There is a significant Asian population throughout the city, not just in ChinaTown.

That was the first time I tried sushi, which was exhilarating, considering how much I liked it and how much courage it took me to muster up to try it, haha!

(I hope I do not sound offensive in any way. I am only describing my experience.)

I think all the OP is trying to get at is that the string manufacturers would like us to think is that that their strings are manufactured in clean rooms by guys in lab coats, and that is far from the truth. That being said, the implication of Sting doing a little of the ole' tantric fisting made me laugh until my eyes teared

When I lived in Taiwan I was told something similar by a native: "the Taiwanese will eat anything that shows its back to the sun.... And if it doesn't, we'll just turn it over"

Most Americans. Flushing is basically NYC's second Chinatown, although it has a lot of people from many arts of Asia. I learned to try and taste first, and then ask.
