all these company's claim there strings have this and that,oxigen free,moisture free,special molecules,etc etc,its all marketing hype, as a otr of all kinds of steel ,flat ,coils were most string company's purchase......the coils sit in a warehouse or a container if there imported exposed to the atmosphere ,moisture ,humidity open air elements dirt you name it,dont believe for a minute any of these claims these string companys tell you ,it all comes from the steel that sits in the warehouses and docks,just plain ordinary steel

My Chinese wife took me to Vancouver's ChinaTown and there were dried, gutted, skinned and de-boned
small dogs hanging and for sale. They are dried and cured and look like flat balloons made of jerky. No cats. Wife told me,"There's a joke in China that states that Chinese will eat anything thats back faces the sun." She laughed that,"this is the reason you don't see many hunch-backed chinese."

yes ,when I delivered to a string manufacture I got fist hand on sight as to were there getting the steel to use to make it into a sting for an instrument, what I laughed at was they advertise oxygen free ,but were I picked it up at was at a port so much for being free of environmental dirty air
