Haha, I think if most people actually put in the time necessary and practiced/played for five years they would easily be twice as good in five years as they are now, or is this a trick question?
I couldn't stay without bass for 5 years after playing it every day for more than 20 years and who knows how much better can i become - playing it more than 5 years.
Oh I remember.
When I'm five years in the future I probably need to change my socks.
What were me mates doing while I was wanking off?
Will they wait for me? Or am I a legend in my own mind?
Actually this happened, in a way, at my College's preschool.
Had the staff lifted some young ones in to a tree they would have been ill prepared in muscle tone and balance to safely be there.
Instead the staff said no to lifting them. It took these enterprising youngins months to cooperate in dragging these large phone company spools across the play yard.
By the time the kids accomplished this they had grown as leaders and followers and obtained the necessary physical development to exist up in the tree.
So my point. I rather have the real five years of actual experience.
Will this be on the final?
I’m fairly pleased with the level I play at now; so being ‘twice as good’ is irrelevant. Yeah, I could be better, but I’m probably not going to be playing music that requires that, so no big whoop.
oh man this is a hard one. twice as good? I could be pretty freaking good. if you would have asked 6 years ago when i just had kids maybe but now not a chance.
