+1 on the free strings.

But anyway, just so ya know there are different threads here. WE have a specific string section. Also, in the Lobby there's an introduction thread. A moderator will probably move this.

Anyway, Welcome! I'm Mark!
Any questions, feel free to ask me! I'm on this damned website 24/7 anyway.

Well, here you go:

DR Strings suck. . . they are harsh, overly bright and the cores separate easily.

Ha! Just kidding. Welcome to the show. We are just a bunch of know-it-alls, but we get lots of newbies that really don't know anything at all, so it all works out perfectly.

I just suggest that if you are going to serve as the face for DR here, that at least you get your punctuation happening, you know, capital letters at the beginning of a sentence, and things like that. . .

;)

also answers to questions like this are pretty pointless. im talking about you saying they have great tension, what is great tension my friend. someone might like nice loose tension, is this great tension? someone might like tight tension that unless they have a big rock solid concrete neck will make the bass look like a bow and arrow, is that great tension? please you cannot make a blanket statement like this, either a. describe it,fx. it is quite loose or quite tight or b. compare it to similar produts, fx. they have similar tension to daddario chromes or something. If you cannot give an informed answer, then tell us, you dont know. /rant

He answered my question, DRs have great tension. I need light tension strings so DRs are most asuredly out for me, and I know because a DR rep just told me. TIs for me I guess. Thanks for the help.
