I've played guitar for 6 years and a little bit of bass here and there.
I finally purchased my own bass guitar recently for recording purposes and I'm trying to get better at it. Hopefully I can learn some tidbits and tips from you guys here!
I mainly like playing rock and metal, and a little bit of blues on the guitar.
Since I've played guitar for a while now, I'm pretty dependent on using a pick when I play bass... hopefully I can get a few pointers from you guys on how I can transition to using my fingers. It looks lame using a pick and then I'll be able to learn how to do cool tricks like slapping and stuff.
