yes the pedals look cheap (like the ashdown pedals), but if they sell cheap id be really suprised.

Aint it wierd???? In Australia MB stuff aint pricey!!!!!!! it's about average in price when compared to other brands & cheaper in some instances!!! Yet OTHER brands are often far more pricey than MB that are far cheaper in other parts of this crazy world!!!!:rolleyes:

The Ashdown's were bad but remember the pedals Ampeg made? They were rock solid and sounded awesome! These could be good but they could also be bad. I'm sure GC will carry them so I will look to try them out when they get in the stores.

I think we get some ashdown stuff cheaper in england, but im not sure.

Im not sure if Mark Bass is really that expensive when compared to other stuff like ampeg in england, or whether im just a cheap b*stard. I met a guy who paid £700 new for i think it was a Little Mark (it was 200w) and a 2x10 markbass cab, and my 300w Ashdown Mag (1x15 combo) cost £250 new.

of course thats probably like saying 'i cant believe you bought the Sansamp BassDriver - my Behringer BD21 is the same'

I actually quite liked the look of the passive DI, and id like to try the preamp/di, and i think that the preamp with the filters would be a cheaper way of experimenting with the MarkBass sound. although as Im still loving my VTbass, i think i can wait.

As far as design goes, the yellow/black doesn't bother me. I'll agree that it's not the most attractive design I've seen, but if [pedal] sounds amazing, I don't give a cr@p what it looks like. Same goes with size. My current board is only 12"w x 11"d and I made room for my Barge Concepts Grinder, which is the size of two EHX XO pedals but is 100% worth the space. :)

Chalk the tube "Compressore" and Chorus/Flanger up on my G.A.S. list...

Yeah man, I picked up my rig for a steal of a price of $2,500 (LMII + Standard HR104 cab) with speakon cable and free delivery... from what I gather it's not even that cheap in USD, and that's with the greenback more powerful against the AUD.

Whereabouts in Tassie are you mate? Lived there for 14 years, played in a few bands :)
