HEY HEY HEY HEY!!! Markbass pedals!!!

If the British price is any indicator these pedals are going to cost nearly as much as some of their amps. 189 pounds is almost $400 US. I think I'll pass.

+1

although i am tempted by their octaver, but i could probably spend alot less money and get 2 OC2's (one for regular oct down and clean, one for the 'sub' thing), id never use the 1/2 oct switch anyway

189 pounds is $278 US. And if you subtract the VAT, it's $241. Not to mention that products often follow very different pricing structures in different markets...

I think the prices are good considering the features and comparing them to what's out there in the market already. The synth looks pretty full on (we'll see) and is much cheaper than a Chunk OS / Deep Impact. The compressor has lots of knobs and a DI, and the distortion has a crossover in it to leave the low end clean, etc. At least they're not just another boring set of clones!

I do hate the size though and therefore won't be buying them (although the synth might tempt me if it turns out to be awesome). Did Markbass miss the meeting where the Talkbass Effects Forum Denizens decided that small pedals are in fashion for 2009? :hiding:
