Hello,i have a question for you.I'm using a Genz Benz GBE 750 and an Aguilar GS410 (4ohms).I love my tone but i always wondered what do i hear ? Genz tone or Aguilar tone ? maybe both...what do you think ?.....thanks

The tone you hear is a mix of several things:
- Your playing style and hand position;
- The bass: wood, pickups, onboard electronics, strings, knob settings;
- The amplifier's "baked-in" tone;
- Your settings on the amplifier;
- Your speaker cabinet;
- The placement of the cabinet in the room, and the room acoustics themselves;
- Your listening position relative to the cabinet.
As a result, it's really hard to pick out what's the biggest component of your tone. Room acoustics/placement/listening position can really boost or kill the low end. After that, I'd say the cabinet's tone is next.
