Been lurking on these forums for a while, but I figured now would be a good time to start becoming more active here. The knowledge you all have provided here collectively is astounding and I'm grateful for all the thoughtful threads, especially about gear which I'm just starting to learn more about.
I've been playing music for a while, but only picked up bass in the past few years. I'm coming to love and enjoy it more and more though, after years of struggling with guitar. Plus, 4 strings just makes more sense to me since I learned all my chops on ukulele (of all things)!
