Hi from France !

Hi there !

I finally decided to register on TB. I've been reading it for a while and now I want to participate !

For the record I started playing bass in 2009 at the age of 19, I practiced on my own aside my part time job and studies before we finally create a band with 3 former colleagues in 2014.

Even though it was damn hard to keep timing at the beginning (5 years practicing alone, yipee) I think I'm getting better now thanks to my band. Last year we hired our drummer to finally start gigging. We've done a dozen gigs in our area with quite good feedback so we are really enjoying this !

Beside that, I love gear so I think you will find me mostly on the gear threads, especially darkglass related ones ! ;)

A la prochaine ! ;)

welcome to TB! cool about your band progress and your interest in the gear stuff.

i also 'lurked' on TB a long time before joining in the fun and chaos --- have fun on TB! if you need any english to english translations....just ask! :roflmao:

Well, I won't call it a success yet but we're glad to play on a regular basis. Nothing beats live music isn't it ?

Here is a couple pics of my stuff :

My 2 Wicks, the left one is a RB Alien 4 made in China, decent for the price I got it. I use it to play at home when I don't want to turn on the amp lol.

The right one is my main bass, a german Corvette $$ 5, I love it as when I'm tired of it's sound, I just move a couple switches and I got a whole new one ! Really versatile instrument.

I also got a MIJ MM JB that I don't use that much because I tend to carry only one bass at gigs so the 5 string got my preference.

And my trusty pedalboard !

And finally my gig amp :

A GK MB Fusion 500 with a GK 212 neo II, very punchy and articulate yet with a good amount of lows.
