Well, my bass collection will never be as big as his or Bowlus', so at least I can beat them in post count!

I did a Google on the brand and type strings I normally use and found a store that was selling the 5 string sets for $23 instead of $31. Confirmed that it was a legit price and bought a bunch of them. The online price went up right after my order. If it had been a typo I wouldn've let it slide.

Shop around. It's still not cheap but sometimes it can be cheap(er).
