Hi! I'm Mickey from Italy

Welcome to TalkBass!!!!
I'm so glad you found us, and that you seem in good spirits after all your country has been through lately.

Thanks so Much!

Here the situation isn't the best. Unfortunately the politics we have aren't the best, we don't know exactly what is happening, we don't know the government plans for the next weeks etc... Hope to return to "normal situation" soon. ;)

Ciao!
What part of Italy?

Ciao! Rovigo, a small city in Veneto. Italian too?

Ciao Mickey. What kind of music do you play?
Ciao!

With the first band I play some alternative/grunge stuff... Audioslave, RATM, Incubus, Foo Fighters, SOAD etc.:
With the other band we play some '80s stuff... Billy Idol, Depeche Mode, Cure...
The "in progress" band is more pop... lady gaga, bruno mars etc...

Welcome, Mickey!

Thanks! :)

Tell us about those self made pedals, sounds cool.

Hi...

I started this thing some years ago with a guitar crybaby... I modded it to works right with the bass.

At the moment I have several pedals, I'll try to spend some words about:

As compressor I use a schalltechnik_04 pumper nickel, pretty much original, I only used a "better" opamp for more clarity.

As autowah I use a custom one based on an old EHX autofilter and I have a slight modified mutron clone.

As od/dist I use a schalltechnik_04 gums drive, pretty much standard, a custom made Fuzz Face (hardly modified with blend and other interesting stuff), a triple od box, with a modified Klon centaur, a modified rat and modified first version Big muff.

As modulation I have a phase90 clone with selected components and other mods, a ce2 clone, an MXR 117 replica, a Flangelicious (power filtering added).

I also have two analog delay, a memory man clone and a dm 2 clone both modified.

As reverb I have a Belton Brick ones (modified).

I also have a custom wah with vintage parts, hand made inductor and capacitor etc...

Almost all pedals are modified to works well with my rig. For the "clone" ones I use original vintage parts (for example the muff is loaded with 4 vintage transistor, the same that came with the first muff version) ecc.

If you have specific question please tell me. I'll be happy to write a detailed explanation of each pedal but it will be a neverending post so if you have specific thing that would like to know please tell me.

;)
