Been lurking here for a bit now, but finally registered and just saying hello.
Decided to take up learning the bass in the new year. Picked up a Harley Benton PB Shorty and am so far enjoying learning this beautiful instrument.
My Dad was a bass player, having played from an early age. He still has his Fender USA 81' Jazz bass but doesn't play it much now due to having MS. Maybe one day I can begin to play it as i get better and carry on for him!
He was kind enough to donate his Ampeg practice amp which sounds amazing.
Hopefully I can contribute to this great community!
