The Romar knobs used on the old Ampeg amps did not have a part number on the bottom. They simply said "Romar St. Chas., ILL" The skirt diameter is 1.125" and the tip and base of the pointer each stuck out 1/16" past the skirt. Modern replacements, like those found on the Heritage B15s are available but the pointer profile is a little fatter and only the tip of the pointer sticks past the skirt. They are available at various retailers, as well as from the manufacturer, whose name escapes me at the moment.
@beans-on-toast may remember quicker than I do. The modern replacements are much cheaper, and better than nothing, but the original Romars look really nice!
