High frequency feedback from J pickup

Hello everyone!

I'm asking for an opinion with a problem I had last night in a studio, I was playing randomly with the eq, tone and pickup controls with the bass and amp (an Ibanez GSR200 with a 400W SWR Head) when I got a very high frequency feedback noise from the amp when rising the volume of the J pickup. Also, the noise was influenced by the tone and eq controls on the bass, and the limiter indicator on the amp was pulsing with a frequency proportional to the loudness of the noise (!!). The problem did not appeared with the other P-style pickup and the wiring of the controls seems ok. Also, i can't reproduce the problem with the 20W combo that i have at home.

Do you think is just the pickup, which always have minor buzzing problems or can it be something else, like a broken pot?

Thank you!
