High Pass Filter (HPF) and Low Pass Filter (LPF) Mega Thread

[QUOTE = "beans-on-toast, post: 25328798, member: 123838"] Хорошие форумы.

I usually end up with one or two iterations as I fine tune placement or overlooked details. I don't draft boards often enough lately, so sometimes I make minor errors here and there. With CAD software it's easy to revise things, compared to the old days with using pressure sensitive pads, tape and letraset.

The machined IC sockets can easily be de-soldered and re-used, although they really aren't that expensive.

It was fun to learn Kicad and have a finished professional PCB arrive at my door. It's a mental puzzle figuring out how to get everything on there and connected. I definitely dove a bit deeper on the latest version. As soon as I get it assembled into pedal form and tested, I'll throw some boards up in the market place for others to play with. The first version is available for normal blender function.

I've seen that for players with a lot of pedals on their board, some of which could re-add unwanted low end. Mine is pretty simple.

IMHO, HPF at the end of the signal chain may make sense for a small pedalboard too...depending on what kind of pedal(s) does the board consist of...

Examples:

If the board contained octave or synth pedal, I would place HPF last.

If the board contained only compressor and dirt, I would place HPF first.

On my large pedalboard, I plan to use two HPF pedals: one first in line (after wireless receiver), one last in line (just before DI box).

Thanks. My only two effects are dirt and phaser.

Sorry folks, my English is not that good, so I use an online translator. Therefore, I forgot to translate my answer back into English, so that everyone would understand :)

Above I answered: yep, collet chucks are better and more reliable

Please elaborate.
I've got a board from another vendor that looks suspiciously just like the one you're referring to (sans schematic); it's already built up *(unboxed yet) but maybe I can salvage it by correcting inherent errors?
I can’t go into details, but it’s obvious if you look at the schematics.
