I really wish there was a good US equivalent available.

Broughton ships from Canada to the US and fdeck in the US. Google them for assembled products at a reasonable price. I can personally vouch for Broughton because I have one and I am not affiliated with either.

Speaking only for myself, I find value in a ready-made product .

I don’t think they are on his website, but he has encouraged people to use his designs in the past. I’m sure he would share if contacted directly.

SO just to recap here: I stated that I was looking for a very specific thing, some dude decided to inform me of the existence of options that 1. I'm obviously well aware of 2. are completely unlike the very specific thing that I was looking for. He also threw in a dash of smug condescension as he informed me that he, personally, sees value in something entirely different than I do so obviously I must just be wrong. And now you've decided to get all snippy on his behalf because I wasn't grateful for his unwanted and useless advice? lol ok buddy. So happy this website has a block list. Bye.

You too find that people don't fawn with gratitude when you offer them unwanted advice that essentially consists of saying "The thing you like is stupid, here are the correct things you should like"? believe the 'pre-made' kit is fDeck's HPF series III. There's usually one floating around the classified, or buy one direct.

Wouldn't hurt to contact fdeck and just ask if he'd be willing to sell you a kit. He seems like a super nice guy.

At work we ordered some parts from a factory in Germany last August. Original arrival date was Feb, last updated ETA was July and frankly I'm not hopeful they'll make it. I'm a bit nervous on ordering stuff from there at the moment.

I too am here to learn and enjoy. I can only hope that continues, and that my pointing out people behaving badly has not overly detracted from the experience for anyone.

The PCB I made could probably be made to just use just the HP function if your a bit electronic suavey. Kinda big for just using it that way, though.
