Lots of blenders have a phase return option. Set up spare one just as a loop of 100% wet with reverse phase. Put that inline with the pedals that invert their return. Turn off and on to suit. Use another blender as a mixer.?please reveal which pedal that is?
I've spotted many summing pedals but don't think I've seen one with phase flipper. TIA

Wounded Paw multi channel does both for me with the last channel looped as a series.
That was a great thread. Lots of good info and myth busting.
Cranked the Traynor YBA200 up today (working from home don't you know) to give the HPF/LPF a workout.
It is the sh**.Everyone needs one of these things, whether you know it or not. An HPF should be the next thing bass players buy after a tuner.
I did a bit of a shootout. Found the Broughton to be a bit more transparent, but I could be full of it
On my Traynor, I enjoy using both sides of the Broughton. Dime the lows and highs, then use the HPF/LPF to set the limits. Works for me, anyway
Used my Traynor yba 200-2 with the 1822. '02 Gibson w/flats and the Broughton HPF/LPF tonight with Derek Hoke...That little box really brings things into focus!
I feel better about cranking the bass knob when I have a HPF in the circuit somewhere. There are simply some amps where this would not be a good idea IME (e.g. GK RB with 5+ string button engaged, older SWR gear, etc.).
And finally, a little bit of shameless self promotion: I have hopes that someone here will take the lead on an open source HPF project along these lines, which coincidentally happens to feature a variable LPF section, albeit in a different format from what we'd typically be talking about in this thread. I just may do that eventually if no one else steps up, but my plate is currently quite full and I still have a lot of fleshing out to do on the builder's WIKI for the current project.
That's the cool part. If you develop it, you get to give it a name.Is there a name for this kind of thing? I’m quite interested in pursuing something like this.

Aw shucks. I was all set for the unveiling of PraiseBassing HPF/VarLPF/Upper Knee Cutoff Boost Filter.I meant for the circuit itself? Would have to do some research and figure out how to add the boost right above the cutoff. Could be above my paygrade tho...
Since there would probably be a hump around 50-60Hz I think I would called it the BoomBox. Car subwoofer tuning reference. I’m sure sure that’s trademarked tho.Aw shucks. I was all set for the unveiling of PraiseBassing HPF/VarLPF/Upper Knee Cutoff Boost Filter.
Or if you put it in a floor box with a foot switch it could be the PraiseBassing Itchy Cat Pedal.![]()
