High Quality Video Recording

Hello,
I didn't know if anyone knew how to record high quality video recordings. I have multiple video auditions coming up, and I also want to start posting videos of myself playing, but everytime I try to record to audio it is beyond awful.
I didn't know if anyone had tips or advice. By the way, I play classical double bass
