Higher tension strings

I'll repeat what's already been said inasmuch as DR Lo-Riders are a stiffer, high quality string I'd easily recommend. I used to use Rotosound Swing Bass which are also a stiffer string but ran into some pretty significant QC issues and decided to ditch them altogether.

I confirm. I had exactly the same experience with the Hi-Beams versus the Lo-Riders. I also found the former to be a bit more flexible despite the larger gauges.
