Hilarious bass review

I guess a little of both from looking at some of the posts...

and ya I am part of the "over 25" guys myself, and "over 35"..."and over 45"... :D

I just was pointing out not to have this thread turn into a "holyHell does that kid suck" thread, since the OP was laughing at his "unique" description of his new toy.

Ah, got it! I see what you mean.
I look at it this way, some of the posts in this thread are far more hilarious for various reasons than the vid they're busting on. :)
Kind of ironic in an entertaining way.

Awwwwwww cut him some slack!. it took him "2 years" to buy it!. LOL.....hes excited about it...its a new toy!...:bassist:

No offense, but your user name kinda throws out the irony of a direct comparison of this bass review with Sir Nigel Tufnel's review of his gear.

Nigel Tufnel: Look... still has the old tag on, never even played it.
Marty DiBergi: [points his finger] You've never played...?
Nigel Tufnel: Don't touch it!
Marty DiBergi: We'll I wasn't going to touch it, I was just pointing at it.
Nigel Tufnel: Well... don't point! It can't be played.
Marty DiBergi: Don't point, okay. Can I look at it?
Nigel Tufnel: No. no. That's it, you've seen enough of that one.

kid/newbie or not...the biggest FARSE on youtube is you get 20 comments on some crappy video like that which usually read:

"great job on that cover dude"
"one of the finest covers I have seen so far"
"super cool sparkly bass" << I think that's the only truth
"awesome playing bro"
"the best I have seen on youtube"
"massive sound dude"

and so on, and so on.....

why make someone happy with a bunch of total lies always makes me laugh MORE :D

How do you expect his school friends to answer?

Gentlemen....FORGET ABOUT HIS PLAYING TALENT FOR A MOMENT ----

this thread was started out of a little humor, and naturally 30 posts in, it has become a war between "haha funny", and "leave the kid alone don't you remember what it was like when you first started" junk.

well when any of you old guys were 16, got your license and used/new car whatever...noone had to tell you where the gas filler door was??

or did you have to ask you parents "which one of these pedals makes you stop"? :rollno:

the humor that some of you are NOT seeing here is not the kids playing ability, or his love for Flea or his new bass or who bought it.

BUT the kid is not the sharpest pencil in the pack, which IS just TOO funny and the whole reason I think the OP put it here......
:D
Since when do you have to be intelligent to be a musician?
:D
