Ran into the old drummer Paul last night and we reminisced about this lovely experience. I had promised him 11 years ago that this story and his name would not make it onto the internet, so I had to call up this thread and show him how I lied. 
We both had a good laugh...and he forwarded it to a couple of the other guys from that band as he still works with them.... it's one for the ages! lol
