Hipshot Ultralites for neck dive?

What I like about the Res-O-lites is that they look right when used as a replacement.
Hipshots are nice but unless you to a lot of work, they look bad when installed as a replacement.
For a new build the Hipshots are great.

I can't argue with that, I tend to think as a builder instead of someone replacing parts

I'm not going to hate on the ultralites, they're quite nice and built solid. That said, I had a pair I bought for a 2003 US Series P-bass and the only problem I found is that the posts were slightly smaller than the hole (14mm vs. 14.5mm bore) and when installed and tuned to pitch, the bushing wasn't enough to stop the tuner from twisting in the hole from the pressure. The one screw at the base wasn't enough. The ultralites would be perfect if you had a neck drilled specifically for them, but retrofitting is a bit tricky.

I'm seriously considering trying the Gotoh GB528 tuners, only because the double screw should stop the wrenching of the tuner from the string pressure.
