I have a 1973 hofner 189 jazz bass that is gathering dust as I have been playing a yamaha bbnii for the last 10 years. Going to sell the hofner, but can't find any info on pricing for it. Any ideas?
Hi.
I have 2 189 Hofner basses.
I bought the first one in 2003, and payed it 175 euros (233 USD more or less - it is here: Invalid Link Removed), and bought the second one just two weeks ago, in a very perfect shape, and payed it 320 euros (415 USD). I collect Hofner guitars and basses, and love that one!
I'd buy your too, but there is a lot of money to pay for Customs and shipping!
All the best.
