Hofner CT 500/8 Verythin LONG SCALE???

Anybody play one? If so, what are your impressions sound/playability/quality wise?

This is the newly released CT long scale I'm asking about and not the older 500/8 BZ which is a heck of a cool bass in its own right.

If my 500/1 is any indication, the CT basses are very nice.

Ahh thanks! i didn't see that thread on a search I did yesterday.

Seems like very limited quantities have been distributed, so I'm not surprised there isn't much hands on experience out there. Only 2 US sellers have it offered that I can see.

I'm thinking about a road trip to Chicago Music Exchange to play the one they have... and of course drool all over the floor due to their other inventory.
