Just about to start a new job with a significant pay rise, so have been entertaining the deal of getting a semi-hollow. Always liked the look of the Hofner Verythin bass, I didn't realise they'd released a long scale version.
It's lost the beautiful inlays and pretty design on the headstock, and the floating bridge. The tuning keys are different too. Not sure how I feel about the dark cherry sunburst. The review below reflects upon it favourably, seems like it might not be the one-trick pony you'd expect it to be, like most semi-hollow basses are.
