Hollowbodies

I was wondering what hollowbodies you usually bring to sessions/gigs. I know you tend to favor the guild starfire resissue but are there any available now that should be in everyone's collection? I was looking at the hofner icon, lakland skyline (can't afford the usa yet), gretch and ibanez.

Which one's that are made now are good quality hollowbodies? I don't really want to take a chance on a used one on ebay without trying it out. And most of the used ones like univox etc.. aren't that good in my local shop.

Also, what should you look for in a hollowbody?

thanks!!!

Starfire, crappy Eko violin bass, Hofner club, Fender Coronado, Vox Cougar, Lakland.

I don't really like "good quality" in a hollow body per se. I like personality.

Hofner Icon's are dope; I'd totally recommend that. Cheap and fat.
