Got the headphones in today. They sound pretty good listening via iPod. Great isolation...I was probably singing full blast and couldn't hear myself at all. Thanks Chuck Norriss.

25 years ago I bought an $85 pair of Sony headphones. They're beat now but still work. I was excited to get these new AKGs that list at the same price but in 2012 dollars, thinking that there may have been big advances in headphone technology. No luck. The Sony's definitely sound better, the AKG pair is worth the $16 I paid but no more.
Just arrived. 11 days later. They sound good so far. Better than my Koss Porta Pros. And they keep out the noise.
Listening to "More Than a Feeling" as at test song. Sounds good. Bass cranked.
