What's up w/ the price of the natural finish? Are they just trying to move stock or is there something wrong with it?

Ibanez discontinued the model. Thats brand new,but I got one used for less than 300.

3 star rating is based off one review and the guy states he's a vintage bass guy,and the SRX's are anything but vintage sounding.

Explains why I couldn't find more reviews, but I didn't really look as the price still seems high to me. Can't find it on Harmony-Central either.

Look at the price for NATURAL finish...$299.

I say if you like that bass (and it does look pretty nice..I wonder how it sounds) then snatch that sucker up before someone else does...I mean, you did post it on Talk-Bass....

I have used one of these in GC about a year back so I know that I do like it and very much dig the sound, however... Since you own it, can you tell me if the battery compartment has a rediculously short connector wire (like you have to change the battery almost entirely within the compartment... Ie very little workspace)? My SR700 had this issue but can overlook it.

EDIT: It has just enough to pull the battery out connected. So it isn't a pain to change.
