I am a beginning bass player and started to record my progress. Due to quarantine I've lost my shed to my mother in law and her dog, who escaped NYC. Now I can only play and practice in my office. I have my Rumble under the desk but that needs to go back downstairs ASAP Ive been told!
I am looking at some entry level monitors for my iMac and Scarlet 2i2. In all honesty, it's probably 70/30 or 60/40 listening to music versus recording and listening to my bass playing. ( I constantly have music on. They will be on my desk do 1- 1/2 meters, 3-5ft, from my ears, further away, 2+ meters, when playing/recording bass.
Thoughts and CC welcome. TIA
I've narrowed down a list to four,
Presonus Eris E5 XT
Presonus E5
Kali LP-6
JBL 306 MKll
