Hondo Warlock?

Hi,

I'm trying to identify a Hondo II bass. It looks like a BC Rich Warlock, but Hondo Warlock turns up nothing. It is part of the Fame series, but "Hondo Fame" seems to be too broad. Anyone familiar with these basses?

Thanks in advance.

It was the first bass I ever bought. Actually mine was a Mako, but they were pretty much the same bass. Plywood body and serious neck dive, but it sounded pretty decent and played surprisingly well despite the heavy neck.

Do you know what it was called? Like, The Splayer or The Demonizer or The Widowmaker? I found a white one for 40 bucks, but I 'd like to read up on it a bit. It needs work, but it could be a fun bass.

I've never seen a Hondo version of a Warlock, but sounds cool.

I know the "Deluxe Series" had a version of an Explorer, but not sure what all the "Fame Series" included.

Maybe ask some of these good folks, someone there might know:

For comparison here's a Deluxe Series 880

Hey guys glad I found this forum because as it turns out, I do own a hondo warlock bass copy. It says 887 if that means anything. Don't find alot of info on it. Has p-bass pick ups and a jazz in the bridge. The body feels too heavy to be plywood. Also has grover tuners. Bought it for $150
