Some honest thoughts about this composition that we made in a couple hours ?

I really like it because it’s groovy without being too speedy and the guitar is just enough notes but not too much to sound like a diary of notes and give the audience a headache.

I would listen to such tunes all night long in a jazz bar.

A little busy and too staccato on bass for the doubling part imo. But I like the walking part. Nice job.

well...in that case, figure your what idiom you want to work in. If it's something strict, then sort out what is most effective for the refrain, and strip down passages and build to the big reveal/resolution...if more experimental, keep with the loose framework and invite other players to climb your latticework...or just ignore me, I'm an old crank with many opinions and not a lot of cred to back them up
