Got the clear done. I didn't lay as smooth as I wanted but it won't take much get it smoothed out. It was 105 here today and I didn't have any clear reducer.
Thanks. Well, right now I'm disgusted. I was doing the final buffing and I accidentally touched a tool laying on the work bench with the edge of the buffing pad and it grabbed it and dragged it across the front of the guitar. So now I get to start all over.
Got the clear done AGAIN. Sprayed better today because of the cooler temperatures. I decided to finish a MIM P-bass body in the same pewter. Buffing tomorrow, more carefully, hopefully that will finish them up.
Thanks. The P-Bass body is going on craigslist after buffing. I don't have any hardware for it, just the original broken, warped neck. All the hardware was accidentally thrown out. I will post a pic once it's buffed though.
