I think the 46% indication on the screen was the blood Oxygen level of whoever conceived the mod and not the battery state of the device. :

None of you have mentioned the risk of bowing the soundboard with all the extra tension of the B string. Adjustments of the action might be problematic.

True. I never got past the looks to think about the truss-rod issue that mod would create.

Reasonable, but nope.

Seems obvious: the modder cut a new nut, drilled the headstock, installed the fifth tuner, and then figured, why bother moving the E and A strings, which would be too short to reach the new pegs anyway, without uncoiling them from where they're wound around the stock tuner posts?

The only other choice would have been to buy new strings, but that's crazy talk.
