Anyone got experience with this multi fx and bass,, has great rep for guitar and they are continuing to update its firmware. Not seeing a lot of bass feedback on it though.

I'm using it with 5 different basses and it works very well. It sound is really good and it's more sensitive than any other digital multi effect I ever had. ( And I had a bunch of them zoom b3n, boss GT 100, Boss GT Pro, etc...)
Defaults are: no driver for windows 7
Input level is in general settings, instead of per preset, so if you use several instruments and do presets for them you still have to adjust the input each time you plug a different instrument in it if needed.
No preset manager in software editor, so if you need to re-organize your presets, you have to save them one by one, and load them one by one in the correct memory slot.
Octaver are really bad for bass.
Auto wah and envelope filters too.
Very good point is how reactive are the amps and pre-amps , so with the right input level, you can really get a live sound.
Also you can import up to 10 IRS into it which opens more possibilities.
Conclusion, besides it's defaults, sound wise is a really good multi effect.
If you can live with the defaults it really worth it, specially the Ampero One, which is exactly the same but with 3 switch instead of 4, and less outputs, but 100 euros cheaper.

Just picked one up, have had one rehearsal so far. Notes
- SMALL. Wow. The expression pedal is like 5-6". Which is great for me, not using that. But if you're a wah-enthusiast, may want to spring for an external (supported).
- Very intuitive. The computer interface is ideal for editing, but editing on the fly is very straight-forward.
- That being said, well worth reading the manual. If nothing else, to see what the fx/amps/cabs actually are beyond the faux names on the pedal.
- Most importantly, sounds good so far. Have noticed some noise, but it's usually only when there's an effect cranked, so tracks about like you'd think in an analog setup. Generally dead quiet if you're set up properly.

Awesome JPGeddy, have fun at the gig. I've read a bit about the Ampero and have heard some say Stock cab IRs not great
Modulations not great
Great amps and overdrive/distortions
Improved tuner and input/output levels
Looking forward to loading some IRs. I don't know that the stock cabs are bad, but there aren't many for bass by default.
I've been looking at the Ampero One version. There's an Andertons YouTube video which includes a demo of how the user interface works. It looks really straightforward.
I downloaded the user manual, to get the list of amp and cab sims. Of the 65 amps, only the final 5 are bass amps. Perhaps some of the other amps would have their uses for a bassist? Anyway, the list is attached here

I loaded up a Bergantino IR and it was quite heavenly at my last gig via in-ears. I haven't looked into amps much. The Ampeg Classic & Vox cover most of it for me so far. The Mesa was/is disappointing to my ears. YMMV.
Just picked this up today. I am beyond impressed. Selling my microbass 3, as well as other effects. I think the clean octaver is great. Still dialing in the filters - not too impressed with those, as of yet. Modulations are on point, as well as amps and cabs - clean tones are great. No need for me to use any new IRs so far. Planning on putting a C4 Synth out front. Running through a headrush FRFR 108. I'm very pleased.
Intending to buy an Ampero One, I found a shop selling the Ampero for barely any more, so got one of those instead. I'm not sure the 4th button has added much to my experience, but the three little knobs just beneath the screen I'm using all the time, and would not like to be without. If you like editing patches on a computer rather directly on the unit, then they won't be much use to you. I also really like that the Ampero has an on/off switch round the back!
Getting used to the controls was *really* simple. The only time I had to refer to a YouTube demo was to see where I had to go to choose which element was controlled by the CTRL button.
One nice little detail it took me a moment to appreciate is that you can assign any three parameters from any of the patch's elements to be controlled by the three little knobs. This means that when you're fining tuning a patch, trying to balance the gain / volume settings of three different elements, you can have them in front of you, easy to adjust. Once you're happy, you just tap on the save button. Much easier than going back and forth between, eg, the distortion, the amp and the compressor.
What's also good is that there's an overall volume for each patch, so once you've got the sounds right, getting all your patches the same volume is easy.

YOu can use the Marshall 100 head model to get that "Lemmy " Murder one tone ...... kinda

Since writing that ^^^ I've bought an Ampero and have enjoyed the results of experimenting with the settings for Fender Bassman (obvs!) and Twin Reverb. In both cases they've worked better with my P than my BB. As you say, careful EQing was needed.
I need to mess with that as with a few IRs I downloaded. I'm just so happy with what I've come up with using the Vox head and Ampeg 4x10 cab sim.
I can't remember what cab I used, but I got a great sound combining the Vox AC-100 with the "Dr Blues" distortion, which seems to be the Boss Blues Driver.
I don't know if the sound is remotely 'correct' for anything ever recorded on that amp, but I know that I like it

hi all! only to shae my experience, i have a AMPERO ONE and i'm searching for the right preset
i buy a Celestion IR NTX210 2x10 and it's very incredible if compared to factory default cab
i'm now searching the correct way to use it in live gig, via in ear monitor or via physical speaker. what are your suggestions? i read Hbomb937 uses Headrush, other ideas? for small gig do you knows smaller speaker or the 10'' is the minimum? thank you all
