Hovercraft!

So this is the other project I'm doing along side the bass I'm building. It's a hovercraft, powered by four overpowered electric leafblowers. Behold the glory of Steward 2.0!

Are those airblowers really enough to move a person? Or is this for a hobby toy only? Where will the power come from?

they made them on mythbusters way back when the show came out, leaf blowers fill the air bladder which has area for air to escape on the bottom causing the "hovering" and they powered them with 2 gas powered leaf blowers.

One of the leafblowers on low setting will lift my teacher of the ground (and he weighs more than 200lb), so two of these at full power is overkill. DOn't underestimate the power of those blowers. The power will come from a extremely long power cord. (it's going to run in a race in a basketball court.) This thing is powerful!! I asure you it is no toy.

Replace the leaf blowers with rakes. Much more environmental friendly.

why not go with petrol leaf blowers? then you can drive it to college
