I've owned three EBMM basses, a 1996 20th Anniversary Stingray, a Bongo HH, and a 2005 Sterling H/S in buttercream finish.
I loved the agressive tone of the Bongo, bot sold it in pursuit of a first year Lakland. I will get another Bongo someday.
The 20th Stingray is a fantastic bass. Great looking, great neck, great tone.
The Limited Edition Sterling H/S has a ton of tones, and a really nice neck. It was one of the first EBMM basses with a 5-way PU switch, and the switch was defective. CS had me ship it to SLO on their dime, replaced the switch, case (which had a slight hinge issue, and refinished the body because they detected a tiny finish flaw that I had over-looked. I got the bass back in less than two weeks and it has performed flawlessly since.
