How can I achieve my desired electronics setup?

I know absolutely nothing about bass electronics other than what each thing does. I want to setup a 5 string bass with 2 EMG 40TWX each with a Volume Push Pull pot each. And then a three band EQ.

I've seen on another thread that someone has achieved this with the EMG BQS control but on the website it mentions a Volume and a Blend pot rather than two Volume P/P.

Is there a way that using the BQS, I can achieve this, or will I have to buy separate parts, and which ones? I intend to go solderless so EMG electronics are probably the best way to go for me.
For reference, this video is very close if not the exact electronic setup that I have described:

Welcome to the forum!

What you want to do is entirely possible. The TWX pickups come with the push/pull pots and a simple tone control.

Follow the first diagram on page 4 of the instructions: Invalid Link Removed. But instead of plugging into the VLPF, plug into the BQS input instead.
