I can't load the song on here at work, but I think I know the one you are referring too well. I have dealt with the fartknockers at Verizon a number of times. If it is the one I am thinking of it is a very cool bass line. If not, I am still right about the one I am thinking of.

Yeah, nice P Bass tone and Robert Plant doesn't mind him playing above the 5th fret either. IMO, that bass line makes the song.

i think i saw ramsey lewis do that song at players tavern in wesport ct back in the late 70 early 80s. that place was a amazing little bar.saw some of the greats play there ..stanly clarke. miles..gil scott heron.larry coryeal.chick corea.weather report. and i believe i saw jaco play there - those days were sometimes a blur-if you know what imean- absolutly great little jazz club...i miss ct.
