I've always figured PM first, don't even worry about posting the request in the thread.As long as we're on the subject.. Let's say you posted a reply with a pic asking for a number for a club.. After what amount of time is it PC to send a PM to the club starter saying "Hey dude, I posted X weeks ago, are you still handing out numbers?"

They're loosely organized. Go into them with patience in mind.
And expectations should be at a minimum too. Don't look for a newsletter or anything... it's just kind of a way to say "I'm on TalkBass and I have the same bass that 40 other people have."![]()

Lol. Like in an anonimous alcoholics club? U feel like "ur not the only one" ?I hear ya, I belong to a few clubs, 1 of them is the Carvin Club. I don't feel so bad when people rag on Carvin because I know I'm in a club with umteen hundred people who own Carvin's too.![]()
