OK, small problem but not to me. I see some others posting these big pics of their basses etc., and yet when I post pics the upload thing says I'm limited to 150KB in size.

How do I post big pictures here?

You might find that those people are uploading their photos elsewhere and just linking to them here. That's certainly how I do it. I have my own website and webspace so I upload my images there and just use the [ img ] tag to link them here.

I use Flickr for most of my photos since it is linked to my Yahoo email account which is nice and convenient. However, unless you pay for their premium account it limits photo sizes to 1024x768. This is good because it means that my photos don't appear stupidly big, but it is also a pain because sometimes you need a picture to be really big. When I need a really big pic I upload to ImageShack since it doesn't limit your picture size.
Aha, ok I see now. Basically if I see a large pic on here then it's being linked from another server. OK, I have my own website too but I have a photobucket account that I rarely use. Guess I'd better look into that.

Also, you can link pics that are already on the web by right clicking, going to properties, and pasting the URL with the same tags
