How do I sound?

Without sep in's for your recording hardware, it's gonna take a mixer and several mics to get a halfway balanced sound on your drums. Two overheads and a kick mic might work out, drums are tough to get a decent mix happening without sep tracks for each one. I still have trouble getting drums to sound good, even with seps,......of course, that might be because I suck as an engineer!! :D:hiding::D

In general the quality is pretty good. Except for the hiss, which might be round loop hum from something in your signal chain, or recording equipment. Most likely the recording equipment. IMO, cutting back on the gain a touch might work out nicely, but hey its your doing here so its your choice

I'm thinking I might need to fool around with my recording setup until I get it to work right.

It also might be this bass.

Listening to it plugged just into the amp I still here this hiss, though its not as noticable.

Maybe its the tubes?

I'll be trying it with another bass shortly...
