Status: Graphite "shimmer", supreme clarity, quite scooped with mids set flat and snappy when attacked a bit harder.

Classic Sabre: a massive wall of warm tone, combined with some sparkling highs - My favourite sound of the moment.

Enfield: More of a grown up sound, piano like clear tone, almost with the attack of a high quality wooden glockenspiel.

TC combo: Very clean and hifi.

Genz Benz rig: As per the TC, but a little warmer with the valve in the preamp.

- Snarly (like Geddy Lee's Ric tone)
- Round (like Pino's tone on Voodoo)
