how do you store your basses?

If you have a few that are not played regularly, and likely to sit in their gigbags for a few months at a time, is it better to de-tune the strings as well as leave in the the case?

Basses are designed to be strung at concert pitch for their whole life. That could be decades.

I usually keep 2 or 3 on stands where I practice. The rest are in cases. They rotate now and then.

All of my instruments are stored in the their cases in the closet unless I'm playing them.

Hard case on end with my other guitars.

I used to leave my Ripper out on the stand, but it's so dusty around here. Now everything gets put back in the case, stored on end next to my amp.
