How do you tell if a Warwick......

Looks like a good deal to me. If you are so inclined a new pre amp and set of pickups would do wonders with that bass

Well I pulled the trigger and got her for $500 smackers. Nice bass. I like it a lot. Sounds and plays way better the my ibanez. Of course I found out vary fast about the way most B strings don't fit in the bridge. No biggie for me. I already did a search and found out how to fix it or just buy strings that fit lol.
At first I didn't like the Corvette basses but after doing research they started to grow on me. Glad I bought it. Luv thus bass!

Hey...you got a great deal! And welcome to that different sound that is only Warwick. I have an active Corvette STD, and I love the killer sound I can get, as well as how it plays. Built like a tank!

Passive Warwick Corvette Standard 5-string. Very nice. It looks very clean too. It sounds like a fair price to me. But I wonder what the back of the bass looks like...

It's pretty clean. A couple small dings. Nothing major at all.
Back of the bass? As far as being beet up? Not at all.
Not sure if the guy I got it from is on here, but if he is..... Thanks for the great bass!

Call me strange but I actually like the way the bass sounds when I use my $300. Acoustic combo amp than I do when I use my Genz Benz 410 and GK head :-/ hmmmmm

Yeah mine sounds very good (to my ears) through my now defunct Acoustic B20. 'Course, I don't have any high quality amp to compare it to.

If it was made in 2010 or later it's probably a Korean model, right? Anyway, if it's German, I think it would say "Made in Germany" on the back of the electronics plate. Can you get the serial number and a picture of the back of the body?

I bought this one for $650.00. The only info I got was it was 2002 Corvette standard. Not sure where it was made. When I checked the # on the Warwick web site the info was very vague. I have a $3000.00 Streamer and this one. This one is my go to bass for almost all gigs. If you like yours, price are where it is made does not matter.
