How does Fieldy get his tones??

Guys, thanks for your replies and your welcomes~:D
Wow. I didn't know Fieldy was such
a bad subject around here. Well frankly,
I liked his "no-melody-only-clickity-clack"
sound. But you guys seem to HATE that...
And some even say that Fieldy does that
stuff cuz he doesn't know how to play the
bass PROPERLY...hmm...interesting.
Anyway, I've gotta check out the guy's
site and hear it for myself.

P.S : Before I registered few days ago
I've seen your threads for some time,
and I think this site and you guys are really great!!:p
Let's rock on~!

Cheers

That dood pisses me off. Anyone can play like him and I think that tone is terrible. No body, no tone, no nothing. Just get an Ibanez EDA and crank the piezo p/u and magnetic p/u's and just start punching the bass like you hate it.

Click click click clank clang click.....man it sounds like someone throwing a garbage can around.

I'm sorry, I do not mean to disrespect him but he is by no means an "innovative" bassist. Not in my eyes. He's a gangbanger wannabe tough guy acting fool. Korn never appealed to me because of the fact the music sounds fake to me. Like its fake emotions they are playing. I don't know there are other bassists that deserve to get more attention than this fidelity cat....

but hey its all about the $.
