How has your bass worn your body?

I went from beginner to gigging pro pretty quickly. So I was a little tense and nervous for the first year or so. I carried my tension in my left shoulder (strap shoulder). I tend to raise it slightly higher, toward my head. Although I lost my nerves a long time ago, I still carry my strap shoulder higher than the other one, force of habit I guess.

I have the opposite to what Billy Sheehan has... My left shoulder is actually higher and more muscular than my left from wearing it on a strap all the time (I even keep it suspended on the strap when sitting down, not sure why but if I can't feel it the basses' weight I feel a bit odd).

My fingers and nails in general are just in a horrible state.
